As Lovestory 2050 is in ICU already, it's all Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na Show, and it already grossed the amount that Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic had grossed, and expected to do even better in box office. Now as Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na got a fine opening overseas, it could be the first hit of 2008.

Also, as the movie recieved good response from critics, this movie should almost near Taare Zameen Par. Cheers to Imraan, Aamir and Genilia, and overall, Abbas Tyerwala, for the first hit.

Flop Directory

Now entering to the Flops list, well, we have much to mention here. Yashraj seems to be in ultimate disaster - After JBJ, they seemed to flop like anything. The movie failed to pull enough audience, though was one of the better movies this year, failed miserably, due to the release of Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Na. It Also failed to impress critics, as it couldn't really make anything special, very ordinary movie, failing in all aspects. It grossed 19,38,03,214 and a miserable $256,350 overseas. Even music sales was affected by Jaane Tu..Ya Jaane Na and Lovestory 2050 music releases. So really another one down, better luck with Bachna ae haseeno guys. Lovestory 2050 - "Oh god, save us from future" - this what only i could say about this crap. If i was disappointed with Thoda Pyaar..Thoda Magic, this one will give you a SHOCK-TREATMENT. I couldn't even bother a B-Grade story, but this is Z Grade (There aint' any letters after Z?) The movie tries to again bring that old rebirth kind of theme, it's too much - even kids would speak better logic. The movie opened poorly at box office, and it seems to be worser as it progress. As a bigbudget movie, the opening is leading it to a flop, critics trashing the film. Lots of usual craps like - Via Darjeeling, Khushboo, Thodi Life Thodi Magic, and De Taali seems to sink like titanic (or worser). But the surprise crap is Mehbooba. They were filming since 1999 and now they release their movie on 2008. Definitely this movie is not for 2008, but seems to have some nostalgic old bollywood moments, and usual love triangle, and of course, if JTJYN is housefull, and you are an oldie fan, check this out, though it has nothing special to offer. Considering the budget and filming duration, it is a crap, but on the contrary, it's just a below average tolerable movie. Verdict in one line : Jaane Tu.. Ya Jaane Naa rules the box office.
