Rock on!! - Music Review (The right one)

I just read the reviews from Rediff and IndiaFM, which were really telling this was a stay away album. I took a risk, and wow, now i learn, that NEVER TRUST THESE REVIEWERS. Socha Hai: Farhan's first track -and straightaway impressive! Farhan is a good singer, but credit goes to Shankar Ehsaan Loy! The song reminds Roobaroo, but i liked this far more than Roobaroo. Good start to the album. Pichle Saat Dinon Mein: Farhan again, and another good track! Western beats are very impressive, and this track is equally impressive as the first one. The BGM is particularly notable. Another good track. Rock on: Farhan again and this time its getting more impressive. Simply one of the best track so far I've heard this year. I was totally inovolved in this track, great compositions. Rock on! Ye Tumhari Meri Baatien: This track feat. Dominique Cerejo, and this name is not very popular. This slow track, is not quite impressive, but just hear and leave alone type. Nothing special in this track, it sounds a bit awkward after rocking three tracks. So this track shall be better skipped. Zehreelay: Suraj jaggan also seems an unfamiliar name, but this track belongs to the fast ones. This track, well is some average - above average, and Farhan akthar sounds lot better, and this track is also a hear and skip. Some may find this enjoyable, but for me, average. Tum Ho Toh: Farhan strikes again after two average tracks, and he sounds like A.R.R. This is a slow track still is soft and enjoyable. This track emerges to be the next highlight of the album. Sounds really good! Sindabad The Sailor: This is a really impressive track, and Farhan could manage to maintain the great impression he managed to give with his previous track. The foot tapping western touch continues. Very good track. Pichle Saat Dinon Mein [Live]: The live version sounds even better, no less than the original! Good work Farhan, you are popping great! I am beginning to really get addicted to this album. Very good. Phir Dekhiye: Caralisa Monteiro, the trumpcard of SEL, first time, features an SEL track. She excels, and this track is simply exceptional. I can easily predict that this track is going to be one of my favourites atleast for an year. Simply brilliant, Caralisa rocks. As a whole, the album is a must buy! I can guarantee you, this is gonna be really enjoyable. IndiaFM and Rediff simply says this album is a trash. Who else could compose such a rocking album except Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy? They say, the lyrics are Pedestrian. Now would all those sweet romabce could fit into such a theme? So it's necessary to keep it simple. They rated albums (garbages) like Mission Istaanbul. Now if you really rate such nice albums so poorly, it will create a negative impact in the music sales, and moreover will eventually degrade the trust of visitors. Just keep your heads right, hear the full tracks, and just trash them if they are really awkward. Hope you people haven't got any amnesia, trashing good, and praising bad. Fact: Ravindra tuteja of Indiafm and Raja Sen seems to rate everything almost similarly, and it may be a coincidence that both of them commited the same mistake. Ratings: 3.5/5
