I didn't had any expectations about - "De Taali" - ah, finally, my expectations of being another crude comedy flick coming true. So what the hell is new? Actually nothing. Not boring, still another blunder - oh god, no! The movie is all about three friends - Abhishek Agarwal (Aftab), Amrutha (Ayesha Takia), Paglu (Ritesh Deshmukh) and the fortune hunter Anjali (Rimi Sen). Abhi falls in love with all of his girlfriends, but fails in establishing it. Amu likes him and Paglu is now trying to make the route clear for them. But Abhi is trapped by the fortune hunter Anjali, and he falls in love with her. But it's not easy for Anjali to decieve Abhi as Amu and Paglu tries to save Abhi from her. So whats in "De Taali"? To be frank nothing! I was not bored but felt like this is a terrible movie with some banal comedy. The songs were really great, it will even make the music director step out of the theatre! It's just the saving grace of Ritesh that you can look forward for. Ayesha, Rimi and Aftab looks ok, but hey, whats it all about? Just lurking around for making you laugh and i think they hardly does the job. I just enjoyed a scene where Ritesh tries to compel Rimi to write a letter. She denies. He tries various funny torturing methods like tickling and cockroaching. Finally he says, "Now I won't do 3rd degree but 5th degree torture". Think what, he pulls out a DVD case which was of "RGV ki Aag" (Mega flop film, you know it!) and threatens her that he will show it again and again - and guess what - She agrees! "Now should i go for it or not? " - Well if you have lots of money and time and nothing special to do - give a try. But if you are looking for a genuine entertainer - Please stay away from "De Taali" Ratings:
